Freespirits is a charity organisation that benefits from the generosity of volunteers, companies and finances raised from fundraising. Autonet, Wincanton and Motor Clinic are just some of the companies that contribute towards the development of the service.

Freespirits Day Care is based in Abbey Hulton, which provides personalised support for adults with various needs and abilities including specialist support for individuals with high (complex) support needs.

Staff are trained in meeting individuals needs including PEG feeding and the administration of rescue medication. The Day Centre has facilities to carry out personal care including tracking hoist.

Aromatherapy

Whether your need is to have a moment of relaxation, reduce muscle tension or attain relief from pain, a therapeutic massage can enhance your overall sense of emotional and physical wellbeing.

Sensory Garden

Whether you like to get your hands dirty or relax on the swings the sensory garden offers lots of sounds, smells and textures come rain or shine.

Sensory Room

A place to unwind and use your senses - our sensory room equipped with stimulating lighting, sounds and textures.

IT Room

Our IT room offers educational sessions giving the chance for individuals to expand or gain computer skills, money skills and fun games too!

Arts & Crafts

Stimulate creativity and imagination. Our sensory craft sessions provide visual, tactile and sensory experiences and a special way of understanding and responding to the world.

Freespirits offers great centre based activities including a refurbished sensory room, IT/Technology room, Aromatherapy & massage room (with a trained aroma therapist on site). Freespirits has a sensory garden with adapted equipment for people who use a wheelchair which offers increased opportunities to individuals come rain or shine.

Here at Freespirits we have our very own cook and take pride that we provide home cooked meals daily. We meet all dietary requirements and ensure meal choice is promoted.

We provide transport at a low cost; we cover a wide area of Staffordshire and the Moorlands. We also have transport for our daily activities and services that are included in our daily provision.
